Designer for a Day

Service Description

Have you ever wished you could hire an interior designer just for the day? You can! This is a brilliant way to access professional advice and get absolutely stacks of information and help in one highly productive day. It's low risk to you - there's a one-off fee and you're not entering into a longer term contract. The day will be completely tailored to whatever you need (see some ideas below). ~ Some clients are looking for remodeling ideas - the 'love it or list it' concept, that is, should you stay and change the design of your current home or sell up and move? Both options can have high cost implications and need careful consideration. Explore more of that with me and tap into my experience of buying-selling-renovating while we look at the possibilities & solutions for the options & some of the costs. ~ Some clients want ideas for an overhaul - they are fed up with their home's interior but at a loss to know what to do next. Together we explore the issues, come up with solutions, create design ideas. This could be the whole house, it might even include the driveway & garden. During the day we will refine the priorities and where to focus our time together. ~ Other clients know what they want to achieve but want support with selection and buying. We may select fabrics, furniture, find suppliers, antiques. We might go shopping together, either on-line, to an auction house or any other destination we can reach in a day. As the day will be tailored to what you need we we have planning conversation beforehand so that I can come to you armed with all the right materials and resources for our day of work together. You get to keep all the sketches, mood boards, calculations and samples we pull together during the day. For this whole day service, contact me to arrange a mutually convenient date. A £325 deposit is payable to secure your booking and the £325 balance is payable at the end of our day. Typically I will work with you from 10.00am - 5.00pm at your home location.
